exceptional products and good support
Not sure why it can't be specified with a Ti bolt and ceramic bearing like the dual idler wheels. Bit noisy, hope it quietens down a bit.
So this is for a weird project of mine - a triple bike (Gretchen) and I needed two chain tensioners. They worked great!

The 15T power Idler really did the trick , runs quiet and smooth, I just love it.
Because of the pressure and deflection angles, I've replaced the smooth idlers on my streamliner chassis with 15t idlers. We will be building folding microcars in Costa Rica, called the ImPAQ (Individual Mobility PAQage) and expect to launch on Indiegogo in November. They are based on recumbent trikes, and of course need these idlers on the drive chain, not on the return which is a straight shot. Yours come highly recommended, so we expect to be buying many more, and possibly other accessories. Our price will definitely be under $10,000. We expect our 4 x 8 foot enclosed microcar to fold in 5 seconds to 20 x 32 x 48 inches, and roll anywhere on its own wheels to park vertically in 20 x 32 inches. Twenty fit in a standard car parking space. We have funding from the Green Climate Fund via a program called CATALIST and the Central American Economic Integration Bank for the project, not much but enough to build our prototype and launch the project. It includes a full fabric body and windshield for weather protection, but can be operated as a convertible whenever. When you are hard of hearing, it's sometimes difficult to identify the source of weird noises in your trike's drivetrain. I replaced a trike's e-drive, only to discover the actual source of the noises was a failing power idler. I replaced it with this new T-Cycle idler and the drivetrain is now quiet. E-drives are hard on power idlers. I now know what kind of noises to listen for when an idler in an e-trike drivetrain needs to be replaced.
This idler quieted down my TerraTrike Gran Tourisamo that was making a noise on the old installed idler. T-Cycle has great Products.
A floating drive idler definitely reduces friction in my 3x10 drive train, thank you TerraCycle.
The original chain idler on the Greensped lasted a remarkable 30 some years and thousands of miles all over the USA. Your replacement appears to be of equal or better quality.
I love Tcycle products. Yhey have always performed as advertised. I have a 2016 Catrike 700 with 46,000 miles. I keep my trike as light as possible and have found the products I use from Tcycle to work great. Just replaced the idler and it runs smooth and quiet as expected.

The 15T idler gear on my CAT 700 wore out its bearing, i.e. the centrally located bearing was just gone when I looked at the 15T gear under the seat. I contacted CAT, but they didn't have one to send, so I looked it up and found it on your site. Delivery was quick and painless. The new idler and bearing work well and was easy to install.

The OE idler for my old (early 2000s) HP Velotechnik StreetMachine Gt fell apart (the rubbery/foam surface crumbled from age) and the chain was just kind of floating around in the space between the rims of the old idler; not very good chain management. I originally ordered the 23-tooth Power Idler based on T-Cycle’s recommendation, but it does not fit the older SMGt: the mounting hole is lower than on the newer aluminum-frame Gte (a fact that T-Cycle was not aware of). Aaron at T-Cycle was super helpful in helping to evaluate what might work—several emails with pictures and discussion back and forth—and he sent the 15-tooth idler as a solution. It is a mostly perfect fit--a bit of a bend in the chain as it meets the chaintube going over the chain stay—but that probably straightens out when my weight changes the angle as the shock compresses (I just can’t see that while riding). It seems to make a big difference in how quiet and smooth the chain runs, and the power transfer of pedaling seems more efficient. Good quality product and T-Cycle’s service is excellent.
The best
I used this off label with great results. Don't crank down on the center bolt, use jam nuts like a bike hub. I zip tied my cassette to the spokes on a 1500W Ebike. This made the impossible posssible.
I have installed the sports +15 tooth idler pulley and it has smoothed out the entire drive. It’s wonderful.
My experiment has nothing to do with trikes, or normal chain management. I have an E bike that puts a reverse load onto the chain under coasting conditions. It takes a moment for the derailer to pull the slack out. Probably because I zip tied my cassette to the hub to use the freewheel in the mid drive motor. Everything else I tried vibrated from running on the outside of the chain. Any friction there made things worse. This allows me to run it on the chain full time and guide the chain onto the chain ring at any angle, vertical or lateral. The 2 bearing design, and their 5 hole adjustable bracket got this working with my 50t chain ring. I don't have the equipment to build stuff like this. These guys have done it already. In my case I also needed the offset clamp of the 5 hole bracket to clear a torque arm on my seat post. That is a very versatile bracket. Since I mentioned the zip tie mod I must warn anyone who might try this to use 1 or 2 of the smallest zip ties. Any chain suck event will break them and the bike will return to normal operation. It allows you to shift a derailer w/o pedaling. Shimano actually offered this many years ago with the freewheel in the cranks. It can still be found aftermarket. A chain guide is always needed.
I was becoming annoyed with the chainline noise my trike was making. Nothing terrible but annoying after a few minutes of riding. I changed the stock idler to the SportPlus and the chain tubes to new flared tubes. What a difference! Much quieter. The SportPlus idler and flared tubes make trike riding much more enjoyable.
Product selection, online store and quality of products were excellent. Very responsive to my questions and honest communication about the delay on one of the pulleys. Very much appreciated. I will definitely be back!
To cut a long story short I replaced the existing idler on my ICE Adventure that was noisy and rough with this superior item. The difference can be measured in decibels and smoothness. A tad expensive when shipped to Canada but hey, it's only money.

Very good and well build
My overall experience was FANTASTIC. I reached out to TerraCycle and asked about a Rans Vivo chain idler kit because, the frame is relatively close to a V-Rex, but I did not see a kit specific to the Vivo. Aaron, at TerraCycle was wonderfully patient and detailed. He asked to photos, measurements, and details about the frame and hardware that held the stock idlers. I provided all the requested information and Aaron collated all the parts and emailed me an order invoice with everything in it. After a couple clicks, it was on its way to me. Aaron said that once I had the parts, to reach out and he will provide detailed installation instructions. And, he did exactly that! It was a fantastic experience to receive this kind of expertise and guidance.
