The four bolt aluminum clamp with a 1" extension worked perfect to mount a cellphone holder on my Catrike Expedition. It helped move the phone holder to the center of my boom ans away from my legs. Fit perfect!!

An essential building block for anyone looking to tinker toy their way to recumbent success is the Double-Ended Clamp! The open-ended four-bolt setup means that installation is a breeze, because you don't have to remove other things from your tube. The high surface area of the Double-Ended Clamp's grip securely clamps into place, holding light accessories or mounts wherever you want them to be. These clamps measures 2" from the center of one clamped tube to the center of the other clamped tube.

1. What an odd shaped clamp. How does it work?
This clamp is designed to be a low clearance, medium duty clamp that's easy to install. That's why the ends are open- it gives you more room to get up close to things, and it makes it easier to install the clamp. The sides just pop apart and you put the clamp where you want.
2. What can I hold with it?
Any round, straight tube that is the right diameter. We an ever-growing library of clamp sizes. It's important the tube is straight for the 1/2 inch (12.7mm) where the clamp is attached. The tube can curve around in other places, but where the clamp is attached needs to be straight.
3. How strong it it?
The four-bolt Double-Ended Clamps are meant for most applications. It's definitely not designed for attaching critical things like steering components, heavy accessories, or exit assist handles. What it can handle strongly depends on the amount of leverage you put on it of course, so the overall design matters a lot.
4. Can I use it on things that aren't the "proper" size?
Unfortunately, no. For the clamp to grip well, it needs to be gripping something that is round, straight, and the rated size. Fortunately, that is usually possible.

- Machined from 6061 aluminum, anodized black. Available in multiple sizes, be sure to use clamps sized exactly for the tubing you wish to clamp.
- Simply remove both bolts, put the halves of the clamp around the tubes, and reinstall the bolts.
- Fits nearly any place you would like to clamp two tubes so they are parallel to each other.

Perfect fit.
You cant see the clamps but they are holding the side rack in place. I had to purchase new ones when I upgraded my seat and the bar on the new seat was a different size than the previous one. I have found that TerraCycle products are always of first class quality. You just need to make sure you order the correct size. I ordered the wrong size and TerraCycle exchanged them for me.
This was the perfect solution for this Trike.
Another AWESOME product by T-Cycle.. Had to get the larger size as I got a new seat for my tifly. Keeps my side bag mount secure and easy to reach.. A+++

This is exactly what I needed. The single screw clips that come with the computer mount SUCK. But this resolved the issue. Im no longer worried my computer mount will fall from the trike

These clamps, used to mount a side mount handlebar bag on an HP Scorpion trike make easy work of a difficult project. Clamps are so well make and secure. Nothing else compares.
I used them as handlebar extensions for my upright bike to set more upright. I can ride twice as far with a lot less discomfort that is caused by my dystonia-Parkinson’s. Thank you so much for building devices that we can use for adapt for our handicaps. I do still ride my Catrike as well.

I could not find the TWO-Bolt clamp I wanted so bought this not knowing that the two diameters were different? This should have been explained better. These clamps invariably need their position changed and are a nightmare to tighten and untighten as they have no give. WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE PREVIOUS TWO BOLT CLAMP-IT WORKED FAR BETTER?

I bought two 4-bolt double-ended clamps in 31.8 x 22.2 to use as part of my bikepacking system. I mount a clamp to each side of the stem, and connect them at the front with a section of 22.2mm aluminum tube (cut from an old MTB handlebar). From this I hang a compression bag using straps. This system is light and stable. I can adjust the angle to keep the dry bag from contacting the head tube. Two clamps are not cheap, but they are versatile and lighter than a dedicated handlebar harness or products intended for this purpose. I can also mount my old Cinelli Spinaci bars to 31.8mm handlebars. Very happy with the quality of machining, except the edge of the 31.8 clamp area was sharp so I deburred it using fine wet/dry sandpaper. I would like to see all the edges softened a little so they are not sharp.

I have an ICE Adventure/Shimano with the left handlebar pretty much encumbered with the display. I decided I wanted a cell phone mount for the right handlebar. Two of the 2", 4-bolt clamps worked to get the riser out away from my wrist and also allowed some articulation when mounted below the brake and joined together with a short piece of 7/8" pipe. This seems easier than using the methods that require taking off the bar end shifter and also allows more flexibility, including a place to rest my wrist. The downside was that T-Cycle sent two differently sized clamps, but quickly corrected the situation and sent me a return authorization for the wrong part.
Moved a T-cycleside bag mount from my wife's Trident Trikes 20"Fat Terrain, to her ICE Adventure HD 26FS with Shimano Stepps and Alfine 8 speed w di2 Auto Shift seat frame is 1" on the ICE so need the1to7/8" clamp to make the switch happen ! These are to support a Windwrap fairing on my Bacchetta Corsa. As I've now come to expect, These were machined & finished perfectly; TerraCycle products have always lived up to my very highest expectations!
I purchased two of these to move the cockpit accessories on a Greenspeed X7 toward the cranks because the e-brake handles from Electric Bike Outfitters were much bigger than the original brake handles, and I kept scraping my knuckles on the tires when in a tight turn. I sometimes have a hard time when specs are missing from the description, in this case the center-to-center distance between the pipe positions. I tried to scale from the pictures but somehow got it wrong, It is in fact about 2". In any case, they worked fine and are well made. In order to use them for additional offset in addition to the special one from Greenspeed (necessary to attach to the 15mm diameter kingpins), you will need short pieces of 7/8" diameter pipe, either purchased from T-Cycle or maybe if you like the custom-rigged look, a piece of thinwall conduit.

I could not find any trace element of neither gold, silver or any other precious metal that makes it so expensive. Come on now..... $12.00 is reasonable price for this item. But its an excellent design,
I needed to add an extension bar onto the steer bar of my electric scooter. My purpose of that extension bar is to put holders for a phone and a light. Unfortunately, the mid-section of my steer bar was oval-shaped and I could not any clamp suitable for such shapes. So I decided to attach a clamp near my brake handle, where the steer bar was round, and attach a long tube to the other side of the clamp. Clearly, the clamp had to be tight and strong because the long tube would exert more than usual forces on it. Aaron suggested that I use this clamp - and it works perfect. It's incredible strong and tight - precisely what I needed. It's a bit more expensive than what I originally saw on Amazon, but I have absolutely no fear that my phone would come down crashing because of a weak clamp (as opposed to Amazon reviewers for some other clamps). This peace of mind, and having a really strong and nice-looking clamp, was worth every little penny for me.
