Welcome to the ultimate in protection from the elements: the WINTR Fairing Kit. WINTR stands for Weather-Inhibiting 'N Travel Ready. When the shelter provided by a time-tested Windwrap fairing combines with the easy to install and easy to transfer mounting hardware from T-Cycle, you have a system meticulously designed to keep you on the road no matter what the weather is doing. Utilizing the power of T-Cycle's exquisite CNC machining, the mounting hardware is stronger and simpler to use than ever before.
Please contact us if you are installing this mount onto an HP Velotechnik trike.
The WINTR Fairing Kit includes a fairing along with all the mounting hardware needed to mount it to your bike or trike.
When choosing your Clamp Size, it may help to measure the diameter of your boom using our Tube Measuring Tool, which you can find here: www.t-cycle.com/tubemeasuringtool
Worth Every Penny
Easy, straightforward install. Impressive fit, finish and materials quality. I normally ride a 32 mile paved trail and my first ride with the Wintr fairing knocked 23 minutes off my previous best non-faired ride time. Even when I’m not pushing hard my ride times are all under my previous best non-faired times. The aerodynamic advantage makes a difference at what I consider relatively low speeds (10-13 mph). Average speeds are 2 mph higher now. The biggest difference is in comfort riding in 50 degrees and colder. If you ride frequently for health as I do I highly recommend the Wintr. My Catrike Expedition is now complete. American ingenuity at it’s best!
Greatly improved mount
The new mount is much easier to mount with the clamp around the trike tube and needs no adjustment if you remove and replace it. By mistake, I used an acetone based cleaner that took the surface off a small area of the lexan; beware!
Love the Winter Fairing
The installation video made installation a breeze. The fairing works great.
Wintr fairing on Catrike Expedition
Makes *all* the difference in the cold and rain. Glad not to be hassling w/ band clamps on the boom any more. Only niggle is rubber expansion nuts need resetting from time to time but I can’t see how to improve on secure vs flexible attachment for reasonable cost so no real complaint there.
