Worth the Cost
I have a new Terra Trike GTS. Given the new seat design, there was no means of attaching a TT Seatbag which I had used on my Tour II to carry my hydration bladder. I will be doing some longer tours in the near future and due to health reasons, hydration is critical for me. I searched several different websites and stores, finding only the backpack style carriers for which there was no means of attachment to the seat of my trike. I came across this on the T-Cycle site and was impressed with the construction and quality. However, as I can buy hydration packs al less than this costs that include the bladder, I was hesitant to make the purchase. So I looked for saddle bags for recumbent trikes and to the TT website for possibilities to carry a large hydration bladder. I found some nice bags, but seat-back real estate would be greatly diminished. So I took the plunge and bought this one from The Hostel Shoppe in Wisconsin. (Sold out here at T-Cycle) The bag came and on inspection, it was obvious that the bag is of very high quality. Stitching, seams, lining and straps are strong and secure. I love the lining. It is insulated so that I am sure my water will remain as cold as possible for several hours on a tour. The straps make it easy to secure to the seatback and seat frame. I look forward to using it as soon as the weather improves. It has been a cold, wet spring here with few sunny and even fewer warm days!
Great love it thanks
FastBack 5.0 Hydration Pack
Easy to attach to my recumbent trike. Sturdy. Keeps water cool during the ride.
I was disappointed that the descriptions didn't distinguish the differences between the 5.0 and the 70LS enough to make a decision but Rowan confirmed that the 5.0 would work better on my Catrike 700. Works great to carry 3 liters of water underneath the seat and out of the way. Here's some pictures mounted on Catrike's space frame.
